Jumpshot

     New York City’s own bass slinger, Jumpshot began in 1996 producing hip hop & trip-hop bangers for major label artists. After a few short years on hiatus, he made a vicious comeback, going straight for the jugular of the EDM world. His debut release, entitled “The Raw Uncut EP” was released in May of 2011 on Synth City Records, topping out at #29 on the Top 100 dubstep tracks on Beatport in its first week. “The Raw Uncut” was also rereleased on Straight Up! Music’s “Killer Beats Vol. 1” compilation in July.

     Jumpshot quickly followed up with an instant banger, “Shotgun Getdown”, featuring eerie vocal riff samples of M.I.A.’s “Galang”, released in July of 2011 on Play Me Too records. From dubstep to drumstep to future electro house and anything else he feels like delivering, Jumpshot’s unique flavor of production is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat begging for another hit, so keep your ears peeled.
